Going to work
How Going to Work Actually Works
The game runs on the real Lagos clock. One game minute is one real minute, so a shift lasts as long as it says. If it is 2 AM in Lagos, it is 2 AM in the game and there is no shift to start.
Your job has fixed days. Each career works its own days — Operator Trainee works Mon–Tue, Thu–Sat (5/wk), Music works Wed–Sun. The button only appears on those days. Each career page lists its days and hours.
The schedule is a ceiling, not a duty. Miss a scheduled day and you simply earn nothing for it. Fewer shifts means less pay that week, nothing more.
Leaving early has an exact cost. Under 10% of the shift worked pays ₦0. Between 10% and 25% pays a flat 25%. After that pay rises in a straight line to 100% at the full shift.
